I suggest you get modeling representation in your area first. Most print jobs for kids do not pay enough to be flying in for auditions. It would not be worth. Most kids who live outside the Los Angeles area, who fly in for auditions, usually do it for Film and TV, not modeling.
It would only be worth obtaining representation in LA if you have the intention of moving here or atleast coming for a period of time.
