Alfred Thomas Highmore was born on February 14, 1992, he is better known as Freddie Highmore. He is an English actor. He is best known for his roles in the films Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, August Rush, and The Spiderwick Chronicles. Highmore’s mother, Sue Latimer, is a talent agent whose clients include Daniel Radcliffe and Imelda Staunton. His father, Edward Highmore, is an actor. He has a younger brother named Albert, born in 1995. Highmore resides in Highgate, a suburb of north London, and currently enrolled in Highgate School.He began acting on TV at the age of 7.
In 2004, he had a breakthrough with his performance as Peter in Finding Neverland. Highmore received several nominations and awards for the role. In 2005, he played the part of Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Recommended particularly for the role by Johnny Depp, who also starred in the film.
