My opinion is that if the class is reasonably priced and isn’t over crowded, it may be worth it. If your son is just starting out with acting, any exposure to acting may be beneficial. The more training your son can get the more comfortable he will be performing. Plus meeting an agent from LA may be helpful in educating both you and your son about the entertainment industry and how it works.
I advise you to do your research and learn as much as you can about the agent and their experience to help you make your decision on whether to take the class or not. Find out what agency they work with, is the agency reputable, do they have experience working with kids and if they represent out of town talent. Also, make sure the agent doesn’t ask for any money up front for representation. All legitimate agents is Los Angeles charge 10% of the actors earnings of the jobs the agent secures. Lorena
