A Commercial can only run for 21 months. After that, the client has to renew contracts if they want to keep it running. If it’s a successful commercial, it will probably be cheaper for them to renew than to shoot a whole new spot. It’s a fine line for the agents. They have to up your price enough to make it a good deal for you, but not so much that the client decides that it’s a better deal to just do a new commercial.
